Yeah, benching isn't just with your triceps and pecs, you need to involve your lats in the lift by pulling your shoulder blades in tight, elbows in and pulling the bar apart outwards, also your foot position also helps the arch in your back try to get them right back. A good example of more lats in the lift is like the feeling you get when you decline bench you push with your lower pecs and lats more. Hope this helps its hard to explain just mastered this myself. I use a regular width grip too by the way. | ||
