I did the Ortameyer for deadlifting and loved it. Have a session with Jay next week hopefully so will get some ideas then.

Yeah, benching isn't just with your triceps and pecs, you need to involve your lats in the lift by pulling your shoulder blades in tight, elbows in and pulling the bar apart outwards, also your foot position also helps the arch in your back try to get them right back. A good example of more lats in the lift is like the feeling you get when you decline bench you push with your lower pecs and lats more. Hope this helps its hard to explain just mastered this myself. I use a regular width grip too by the way.

thats what we do mate, but most of the worlds massive benchers use lots of lats and legs in the bench...that is what Ian is getting at

yeah of course mate im just having a laugh.
It probably reduces the amount of range of movement as what my repboards do when i keep flat backed. All sorts of variouations but same result, a press is formed lol

you me and hixxy all bench the same and we all have shoulder problems.
i think we need to start using or lats

Was looking for overhead pressing advice mate... I bench like a 7 year old girl.
