just got PM'd Member 1945, 685 posts | BDFPA 8th December 90 class weighted in at 89.5 after not eating breakfast full powerlifting meet today Gary picked my up at 7.30 and we drove up to Bradford. was a very good comp and much fun, warming up was a bit hard but beyond that banging... learning point however was wrap up warm for pl comps. lifting unequipped squat opener 175 good lift 185 good lift 195 good lift (pb) 15kg lead at this point bench opener 95 good lift 100 good lift (equal pb) 105 close but fail (apparently the line was off slightly forward) still ahead deadlift opener 230 good lift 242.5 good lift (think its an un strapped un hitched pb but wasn't to hard) biggest dead in my class 255 fail (wasn't going to go out for a non-pb line slightly off again, wasn't through heels and out in front a little too much won with at 537.5 total which was a win by some margin at least 30kg I think. much fun was had. very good atmosphere and good lads. thanks Gary for driving | ||

just got PM'd Member 1945, 685 posts | thanks gents and now for overhead running 5,3,1 atm 3 times a week big but boring so strict warm up to 57.5x5 60x5 belt and wrist wraps on 65x4 65x2 belt and wrist wraps off 37.5x10,10,9,9,8 bw chins 6,5,4,5 cuffs stretch out | ||

just got PM'd Member 1945, 685 posts | tar mate bench all paused warm up 77.5x5 wraps on 82.5x5 87.5x6 pb then 5set of 10 reps with 50kg all paused then bent over rows many 5s and 6s with 80kg cuffs 12reps with 8kgs fin | ||
