Thanks JP, Friday squats I finish work at 2:30pm so will be there for 3pm. My plan is to go heavy on a reverse band set up to a box. What's your plan?

Haha kool am the boss lol, I think you should go heavy on a reverse band no box thou and no knee wraps get abit of overload.

25.07.12: Wednesday - Squat & Bench

Squat
60x2x5
100x1x5
140x1x3
180x1x3
210x1x3
230x1x1 - Went down for second rep and as I drove back up I felt a sharp pain in the back of my right hamstring so lowered the weight down to the pins.
Its not a tear as their isn't any brusing and I can get down into a full squat postion still. Hopfully it will pass in the next couple of days. The postives from this are that 230 moved very quick, never moved it so fast.

Bench Press
60x1x10
100x1x5
130x1x3
155x1x2
130x1x7
100x1x12

Some Flyes and Extensions.

I then walked home from the gym about 3miles [Car is having a MOT], I could feel my hamstring slightly am hoping it will just pass quickly time will tell.

That sucks about your hamstring think you did the smartest thing and lowered to the pins I know guys who would try grind a rep out when that happens and end up with a serious injury

Hope its just a strain

Yeah I think if I had came back up with the second somthing would have popped. Hopfully it will heal quickly. Planning on squatting Friday will take it set by set.

If I were you I'd throw in some high rep light wieght dumbell sldls before you squat to realy get the blood flowing in your hams to be on the safe side

I strained mine a while back and I put it down to bouncing out of the bottom of a squat

Will do. Irs pretty annoying when these things happen suppose its better off happening now then a week before the comp.

It's even more annoying it always seems to happen A submax wieght you lift week in week out with no problem then one day it just comes out of nowhere
