I dont claim to be the oracle of all things strongman , but trav is a big lad and it will be a real trial to get down to 90 , he tried a couple of years ago and didnt make it.

anyhoo, the general doesnt have that problem, he is 84kg in a wet duffel coat !!

Are you on the piss ?
Avatarbrocerslrd
They'd be cracking on an axle for deads mate. They'd look pretty cool in a comp for say 200kg+ deadlift for reps

Yes but that doesn't change anything! Grin

Agree with the general consensus that 3 reps at 110KG will be very competitive

You look very consistent, which is more important than being spectacular on just one event. Top 3-4 in every event and you have a great chance of winning a comp!

I'll have to agree with JC too, bas***d lol just dont get caught up with thinking people will be knocking out a dozen reps, a solid 3 with maybe 4 on the day will be very competative, I went for it and got 5 with no chance of fails, if i'd have rushed for 6 maybe i'd have gassed out, then second set under some fatigue I only got 4, and I was thinking I was going to train up to 6-8 for the day, its not far away so imo I would focus on knocking out in training an eficient 3 reps with some time spare, then on the day who knows! its not like your only doing one set of 3 either multiple sets is top work Happy
