Pick up was alright, I tried to put my hands between my knees under the bar, but it felt weird. So I put my arms outisde my knees and picked it up that way.

It was difficult to put the bar back down properly, so I just let it drop off my knees lol.

The spotter tapped the bar so get rid of him! LOL....Very funny, Good spotting seems to be an art eh! Last week on my 110kg bench one of the guys at our gym touched the bar on my 5th rep so i could not claim it. IT WAS GOING UP!!!! lol...

Yeah I know what you mean man. That said I'm very grateful for the majority of guys who've spotted me when I asked politely and done a good job (A good job being just standing there and watching)

I think 90 is about right for my overhead. But no way a 246 kg deadlift!

117.5 kg x 2 = PB(spotter tapped the bar literally on the last cm, but I'll give myself the rep)
117.5 kg x 1, fail 2 Disappointing to fail this again, I think I've learned that low reps on bench don't really work for me

97.5 kg x 7 fail 8 Shouldn't of failed the 8th, 7th went up quick need to work on my breathing

Close grip bench press:

70 kg x 5
85 kg x 8 Default PB

Paused Squats:

70 kg x 5
87.5 kg x 5
107.5 kg x 5

125 kg x 5 paused

145 kg x 3 paused failed 4th. Very annoying for me

107.5 kg x 8 no pause

Pendlay:

77.5 kg x 5

92.5 kg x 3 =PB

I need to rethink my training on bench, very low reps don't seem to allow progress, but I'm more concerned with my overhead with regards to my comp. Perhaps bench once a week and overhead press twice weekly?

Went gym 6pm, bumped into a friend, who coached me to an overhead squat PB- with an empty bar. Turns out you need a snatch grip which these which I hadn't done before.

Did 4 500 metre rows, times around 1:45

Then did 60 mins circuit training
