Forgot my towel today and it's boiling today, so it was a sweaty workout!

Weigh in 99 kg on uni scales, so more like 101 in reality.

Bench Press:

57.5 kg x 8
70 kg x 5
85 kg x 5
97.5 kg x 5

112.5 kg x 3 very nearly 4 =PB

I was quite shocked to only get 3, but bench progress has been very slow at the moment. I am contemplating deloading something like this:

Next week: 100 kg x 10
+ 2 weeks: 105 kg x 7
+ 3 weeks: 110 kg x 5
+ 4 weeks: 112.5 kg x 5

Any thoughts from you beasts on here?

Squats:

70 kg x 5
90 kg x 5
107.5 kg x 5
125 kg x 5

142.5 kg x 5 PB, last rep pretty damn hard

Pendlay:

50 kg x 5
60 kg x 5
70 kg x 5

82.5 kg x 4 (failed rep 5)

Chins:

BW x 5
BW x 10
BW x 8

Hyper extensions:

BW x 10
+15 kg x 10
+20 kg x 10

Hammer curls seated:

25 kg x 8
25 kg x 7
25 kg x 5

Nice session lad. Quality strict pressing and pushies, and that deadlifting is coming along a treat as well.

It is now October and I'm back to uni tomorrow, so its time to review my progress this summer:

Goals:

Squat: 140 kg, have achieved 155 kg
Deadlift: 200 kg, have achieved 200 kg for 6, I think I could lift 220 kg x 1
Bench: 120 kg, have achieved 125 kg

Military Press: 80 kg, have achieved 85 kg, and I think I am good for 87.5/90 kg at the moment

Push Press: 90 kg, have achieved 95 kg and think I may be good for 100 kg

Bodyweight: 100 kg. Check

New training goals!

By 1st January I am aiming for at least:

Bench Press: 130 kg

Squat: 175 kg

Deadlift: 240 kg

Military Press: 95 kg

Push Press: 107.5 kg

At no more than 105 kg bodyweight (101 currently)

Last weeks Friday session had to missed unfortunately.

Bench Press:

57.5 kg x 8
70 kg x 5
85 kg x 5
97.5 kg x 5

112.5 kg x 4 PB

Last rep of 112.5 was epically hard, the bar was stuck for a moment, and then i squirmed and my right foot lifted off the floor and was able to finish the rep. I think I pulled a muscle in the right oblique/ lower back area though, but it's not too bad. 5 reps next time!

Squats:

70 kg x 5
90 kg x 5
110 kg x 5
125 kg x 5

145 kg x 5 PB

Long deep breaths between the reps, easier than anticipated.

155 kg x 1 =PB but easier

Will do 160+ on Friday

Pendlay:

60 kg x 5
70 kg x 5

82.5 kg x 5 PB

Wide grip pull ups:

BW x 15
BW x 8
BW x 5

Dips:

BW x 8
+20 kg x 8 (failed 9th)
+20 kg x 7

Seated hammer curls:

25 kg x 8
25 kg x 5

Standing hammer curls:

20 kg x 8

Trained early this morning and I'm not quite used to it. I felt a little sick as per normal when I train early, and I wasn't feeling particularly explosive at all. Still managed a few PB's though..

Strict Overhead Press:

40 kg x 5
50 kg x 5
65 kg x 5

80 kg x 3 failed rep 4 PB

Really wobbly kept staggering backwards, repeat this weight next week until I get 5.

Push Press:

50 kg x 4
70 kg x 3

Not very explosive today.

92.5 kg x 3 PB
92.5 kg x 2 failed rep 3

Squats:

70 kg x 5
90 kg x 5
110 kg x 5
110 kg x 5

Deadlifts:

70 kg x 8
120 kg x 5
160 kg x 3

205 kg x 4 and hitched rep 5 PB
220 kg x Fail

I'm going to repeat 205 kg x 5 next week

Wide grip pull ups:

BW x 10
BW x 10
BW x 5

Superb training mate. Are you the guy who was struggling to push press 80kg a couple of months ago?
You training has really come on and I think 200x6kg Deadlift may give you more than 220kg but I could be wrong
