Can I say a big big thanks to all the lifters (over 100) loaders, spotters & officials (over 50 unpaid volunteers) who made the weekend such a success. It was a pleasure to witness such a fine weekend of powerlifting with some fantastic totals to boot. I've never seen a crowd of spectators as big as the one on the sunday afternoon at a national powerlifting event before. We're already planning 2012. | ||

 Member 1762, 624 posts SQ 152.5, BP 125, DL 170447.5 kgs @ 81.5kgs UnEq | I really enjoyed yesterday, it was my first comp. Was a good experience. Went 7 for 9 and pretty much equalled my gym pb's while carrying a calf injury so was happy with how it went. Came 7th in the 93s (last. Haha!) but I know what needs working on and working on a plan for the Northwest in December. Have to say my missus enjoyed it as well (prob because our 11wk old daughter behaved too), she's never really shown interest in my training but she was grilling me all the way home with loads of questions and said she was gutted we couldn't get there earlier so she could watch more! Haha! | ||
