My ribs do hurt, bit of deadlifting will sort out the gayness I am sure.

I am sure Martin will back me up when I say it is irritating as f**k to be out benching people by considerable amounts raw, but then having a stupid shirt battle mean you can lift less than them equipped. Especially as the strongest part of my bench is the lockout as my tris are pretty strong things.

I know is all technique and the fact I am still green and new to the bench shirt, it is frustrating when you are clearly strong enough to put up bigger numbers but you have to refine bits and bobs to do it. All comes with time and experience I guess. Grr, gonna go eat everything ever now, more food , more drugs, more cardio – no wait, I got that bit wrong.

With a pretty tasty power clean and OH, would you fancy having a go at one of the comps we had recently, in the format of 2 hand anyhow OH (OK, a not so strict C&J), and deadlift? After the success of the sugden classic it looks like it could take off a bit. There definately will be others. Breaks things up a bit Happy

Would not be opposed to it after my comp. Not done much overhead due to my shoulder gaying things up but it seems sorted now so was planning on getting the ole push presses going again after the comp.

Good stuff. Will keep you posted then. Probably be looking towards mid summer, although if the timming is still s**te for you we will be having others. We found it was a format that suited more than just OL or PL. Most of all, it was f**king good fun. Comps like that can always use another monsterWink

Ok sound, I will be starting my build up for the worlds around the start of July (the 4th I think) but before that would be fine or if there is one after the worlds in sept it's equally good. To be fair I could probably squeeze the comp in anyway and use it as a bit of a deadlift tester all else failing anyway, even if I just came to pull, change of scenery and a bit of banter is all good fun (unless your a bodybuilder, then your a fag anyway!)

Bodybuilders in Adlington? Hmmm. Not sure. Someone once said that they'd seen one, but I'm not sure it can be trusted as a reliable source. I know I've never seen one thereGrin

No idea Tony, Justin Hurley told me about the King Pro, I wanted it becuase it has velcro straps as I don't like a tight belt or straps when deadlifting.

Cheers Dai, much more confident now, should be looking at round an 850+ faily comfortably so lets see how it goes! Let me know how you get on in the Welsh (Im sure I will check anyway) best of luck with it!

Ok happy with the kit, depth etc so next week will go heavier then a week off.

Was always on the cards tbh, last 300 in previous build up was in just briefs and 2m knee wraps.
Since then form improved alot, hips stronger etc so should get a half decent one out, hoping for about 340 to be honest.

Also always on the cards was baldness, natural high test levels (I was asked if I was on gear at a medical some years back) boths sides of the family have chrome domes and copious amounts of drugs over the years have banished my hairs from my head.
