Raw Bench 60 x 10 80 x 10 100 x 10 120 x 10 140 x 8 150 x 4 – I was so uneven on the bench, totally my fault for being a ghay Incline Hammer Press 120 x 10 160 x 8 200 x 5 Push Press – Bit s**t on these, one of my triceps seemed real tight, not done them for a while though. 60 x 10 80 x 10 Close grip Bench – Real slow down, pause then explode off the chest 60 x 10 100 x 10 110 x 10 120 x 8 Hammer Seated Dip Machine – New toy in the gym so had to have a blast 120 x 8 140 x 8 160 x 5 Impressed with the dip machine, really blasted the shoulders and triceps right by the elbow, I like to use a hammer machine at the end of comp prep workouts as: A: I’m usually fooked B: It only moves one way so you can just lift without having to stabilise at the end of the workout. Gonna push for a 240-250ish bench at this comp in April (well I hope anyway) I seriously think it is within reach, I pushed 227.5 after being ill and not training for 2 weeks just three weeks out from the comp, spending the night before on the piss watching the Hatton fight and only using my shirt 4 times before the comp. | ||

Member 194, 3976 posts | Squats – 27th Jan Had a good workout today, everyone seemed to be on form. Squats – Paused in the hole for stretch and to keep form 100 x 8 140 x 5 180 x 5 200 x 3 200 x 5 200 x 5 Lee did 300 x 13 reps and then 320 x 8, and Jordana did herself proud today (67kgs, drug free) with 3 sets of 10 with 100kgs and then 10 x 105 and 6 x 110 (comp best 135, un-equipt) I will do 220 next week to see how it goes in my last session before build up and equipment. Wide Stance Squats – Light ones, for dynamic stretch more than anything 100 x 10 100 x 10 Uni-Lateral Hammer Strength Leg Press – from a dead stop at the bottom 120 per leg Both at same time x 10 140 x 10 Alternate Legs x 20 Close Foot Placing x 15 Uni-Lateral Leg Extension 20kg a side Alternate x 15 One Leg x reps then the other x 12 Both x 10 Unsurprisingly my right leg is weaker, so its nice to throw these types in to strengthen the weak links. | ||
