Cheers Hayden!
Had a birthday workout, Warmup on bike,
about 6 sets of leg extensions,
Bodyweight squats
Hamstring curls
Back was feeling better but felt it was wise not to squat.
Hyperextensions followed by some stretching
Bicep curls
I worked the muscle groups involved in the squat as the back continues to improve day by day I will gradually up the workload. Hopefully this was just a warning shot over the bows.

Had a physio session this afternoon which helped identify a few problems in my upper back that were affecting my shoulders.
Went to gym this eve just did some light bench up to 100kg as I'd had the shoulder worked on earlier.
Upright rows 115lb
dumbell rows up to 3 sets of 8 on 100lb
tricep pushdowns with 130lb
rotator cuff exercises.
special trap exercises advised by physio
Took it easy after the shoulder had been worked on. Have another booking next week

some non squatting leg work as back is still tender did 2 sets of sumo deadlifts though on 75kg and it felt ok but need to be careful.

Missed weds due to feeling very rough, had a physio session on thurs and then did some light bench afterwards (about 130kg x 5) bit of traps and arms after that.
Saturday
warmup with leg extensions
decided to carefully have a go at squats
did 3 sets of 75kg x 8 with a belt on
felt ok I will steadily work up from here over the weeks and hopefully remain injury free.
Did 2 sets of wide stance stiff leg deadlift on 60 kg x6 with belt on.
leg curls 4 sets
3 sets leg extensions
hyperextensions b.w
bicep curls
I felt fairly positive about the whole session after pretty much having to avoid squatting the last 2 weeks.
Big Jim did 2 decent reps on 380kg on the squat which is his last squat workout before the masters next week.

I dug out a pair of new converse chuck taylor boots i've been keeping for years and broke them in. Saw them cheap on holiday and thought they were worth keeping

bent over dumbell rows up to 110lb 5 sets
trap exercises
upright barbell rows
Felt ok tonight shoulders are feeling better as is the back (though it's still stiff 1st thing in a morning-the back is too!) Phsio reckons I should be doing more upper back and especially trap work as that was causing the shoulder probs.
