It's not one of the more exciting logs on here I admit. However with the last couple of replies it's been "sexed up"!
As I said at the beginning Rick was the main influence in my commencing a log on here, it does serve as a useful reference for myself as I've never kept a logbook for training in the past.
I'm not intentially blanking Rick, we put the world to rights the other week when I went to train at Adlington. At the rate Rick is going he's going to be catching my total soon.

Thanks Joni, it's just something new I'm trying to help get my squat a bit nearer to my deadlift! I'm going to peak up on 3's on heavy day and then vary the workload on light day.

light laterall raises
session was interupted by my constant need to defecate this evening.
Trying a bit more volume training for a while.

The third set on the bench was particularly impressive, since, by then, Bryn had shat his way down into the 125's.

warmed up and then set on 75kg -knee felt a bit odd
75kg with bands stppoed after 3 reps knee not right
did a few leg ext
stiff leg dl up to 145kg x5
hamstring curls
biceps
Just one of those odd sessions, I'm sure the knee will be fine, it's happened before and a physio gave me some advice on it.

Hope it is ok mate!

I did my box squats without my knee sleeves yesterday (as I'd left them at home after their annual bath), and the first few sets felt profoundly odd - a couple of twinges in my right knee. Fortunately it was warm enough that I was up to temperature quickly, and had no problems after that.

Bit of a team event today, myself,val, dan, laurence and carl. We've been getting a bit more interest from some of the gym regulars so were having open sessions where they can do some power training with us. Dan and Laurence are our two junior lifters in the Roses Cup.

Ive felt a little weary all week wih the heat.
