"Yeah, I train legs all the time, but I do it at my other gym....!"

that would be why I only ever see you doing a "chest day" - wa**er

Bodybuilders - "chest day".....f**k OFF. If you want to lay down through every work out get out of the gym

Bodybuilders - "You want to use a full range of motion mate...!!" - No I dont, its a floor press. Its for my triceps. To help with my overhead. Dont criticise what you dont understand - PRICK

Staff - "could you put it down instead of dropping it..." - f**k YOURSELVES, I am training for most reps in 75 sec, I will not be gently placing each one down...!!

Anyone - "Let me just get my gym gloves on...." - I am at risk of one of those freak gunning down at random incidents...

Bodybuilders - "No I am not planning on doing any shows/comps.." - well what the f**k are you doing it for...! Vanity! Believe me, women arent impressed. I have never had a six pack and its never done me any harm...

Bodybuilders (when talking about strongman and referring to their own muscular physiques..) - "No mate, this body doesnt actually work - its all just for show ha ha ha ha" - YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES....It is better to look weak and flabby but be strong as f**k, than it ever could be to look like Arnold but be deadlifting less than I bench...!!

Also anything to do with critiquing or giving feedback to any other male regarding their body in the gym. If I wanted to watch Gay porn....actually, I just dont want to.... Please look at each others bodies from the comfort of your own duvets you bas***dS....

Some good points in the BB rant Pint but I'm afraid IME a f**k load of women are impressed by six pacs and big muscles.

Erm if that reads like I have a six pac and big muscles it's not supposed toGrin
AvatarWiegieboard
Great post defo, but I have to agree that the kind of women bodybuilders want are the kind of women who want six packs. That's when bodybuilders aren't chasing after men of course haha.
AvatarBenMac
Nowt wrong with training like a BB with no intention of doing a comp in my humble opinion.

Chicks dig gunz and thats a fact.

Women prefer money to muscle, though.

LOL... not all this bodybuilding hate again, please! May I ask, what's wrong with looking like you lift aswell as actually being strong?

I imagine that those who slag off bodybuilders on a regular basis are ashamed that they look like crap and would rather have a BB-style physique.

I guess there are both positives and negatives to it like everything else and as it's an image thing more than anything else to bodybuild, each person including the person with mentioned physique their self has a different opinion on what it means to look like a lifter. The look will benefit you in many ways and impair you in many ways dependant on your lifestyle. Where you live and who you associate with for example in a warmer climate especially if you work or live by a beach or in personal training where face value is a large factor in peoples thoughts, it could be a huge benefit in your life. In Glasgow where anything different merits a stabbing and where people view the image conscious in a pretty negative light, it could be a huge hindrance in your life.

Horses for courses and all I guess.

Half bodyweight bench press challenge for reps at work yesterday, one of the members asked "do you have to go all the way down to your chest though innit?"

Its almost as bad as all the 500lbs+ deadlifts I got told people were doing - only to find they were starting from around 18inch off the pins in the rack Happy
