Friday 9th November, Adlington

Power clean + push press 50x2x2, 60x2, 70x2x so many I lost count (until Jeff told me to stop, basically).

Some of these sucked less than others.

Hang cleans 50x3x3.

As above.

Speed Bench 20x20, 70x3, 75x3, 80x3, 85x3, 90x3, 95x3, 100x3, 105x3, 110x3, 100x3, 90x3, 80x3, 70x3.

Tired now.

Monday 12th November, Adlington

Squat 20x5x4, 70x5x2, 115x3, 145x2, 160x1, 170x3 PB

Deadlift (in pounds) 132x5x2, 220x3, 300x3, 350x3, 400x3, 430x3 (roughly 195kg).

Made a proper pig's ear of much of the squatting today. Didn't take the 145 seriously, and so made it difficult, and on the 170 the video evidence will show that I never got my chest up for the last two reps (the first one was fine). The last one turned into a ME good morning. I'm such a cock.

Deadlifts went harder than I was planning, which is good.

Next week plan is for a double, not quite sure yet what. 170 or 175 look likely.

Good lifting that man! I didn't think your squats were nearly as bad as you suggested they were. I guess every little mistake feels magnified during the lift.
