It being a soap this led to all manner of complications. The name of the horse was "A day at the seaside". This comprises 16 letters and 4 spaces so a total of 20 characters. This did not pose a problem, nor an issue for the sub-title writers, assuming of course that they are still actual humans. Racehorse names are restricted to 18 characters so "A day at the races", if real would be called "Adayattheraces" If I were employed in the subtitle industry, I would have sobbed tonight. | ||
