My asshole is not watertight. What should I have done differently?

Member 6130, 110 posts | 7:26 Small pb on 2000m just by dropping dial too 7 seems much less effort to maintain 1:50-1:55 pace

What should I have done differently? Olympic rowers will use a drag factor between 120-140 this equates roughly to 4-6 on the damper setting. For shorter rows 500m or less 10 is not so bad. Mostly 10 is the favoured setting of egotistical ignoramus's

we ride at dawn Member 4363, 1442 posts SQ 310, BP 250, DL 320880.0 kgs @ 104kgs UnEq | What resistance do you guys use on 500m and 100m respectively? I was well under 15 seconds on the resistance 10 for 100m (think I had the wrong display setting, I did 'just row' but no milisecond measurement on the screen), and did 500m on resistance 7 in 1:32. I did these tests purely to see how I stacked up on the forum, and never been on the rower before except a few rare cases during military PT about 10 years ago. Any advice on ideal resistance guides would be welcome as I'm using this to improve anaerobic threshold to offset systematic fatigue during squat/dead sessions

Still got a little bit of strength Member 400, 22044 posts | I've never been on one of these machines. I think I would perform very poorly.

How do people warm up for a max effort row? I've just been jumping into them with no warm up to speak of due to laziness, I must be losing seconds because of it. I'll often feel at my best about half way through a 5k, and usually the first 1k is my slowest.
