Freezing egg yolks?

As is, right now, I'm having only 2 yolks with my dozen egg whites, for caloric purposes. I feel like I'm wasting all of those yolks though Is freezing egg yolks safe? If I freeze the ones i just used, then keep topping up with more yolks on top to freeze?

I get my eggs for very little, free range (6pence, large). Even the cheapest egg whites I've seen in bulk are more expensive that that. Unless there is a super duper cheap egg white code somewhere

Although thus means you're consuming the very yolks you don't want to consume, but you're going to anyway; why else would you be freezing them?

And with the increasing popularity of commercial egg whites, I guess Devonshire will be making a killing on getting low price yolks. So anyway. I'll start trying to freeze them from tomorrow morning.
