I'd generally go with the design of the shirt, and what the event is. Red is generally used within the world of finance, and often paired with pinstripe suits. "Wacky" tie designs should be avoided past the age of 12, and for any work event, especially for interviews.

It looks like now it will be on which attempt you lifted the weight - so, if I went 100, 105 & 110 and you went 110, Fail & Fail you'd win by lifting it on your 1st attempt. Then there is another decider (difference between previous attempts) and then it goes to lots I believe. That is if they don't change the order before the rule change goes into effect - not sure when this all goes ahead as yet. EDIT: Ah, looks like 1st Jan 2017.

Member 2216, 2243 posts | Sounds like this will mean aggressive opening attempts, small weight increases for subsequent attempts and more missed lifts overall.

nothing to hide, please follow my life on webcam Member 255, 3732 posts | What was wrong with lightest person wins? Or if not why not a draw? After all if two people have lifted the same weight ... isn't that a draw?

no really Irish Member 1196, 5908 posts SQ 312, BP 230, DL 320862.0 kgs @ 114kgs UnEq | lightest person wins was a sensible rule....

nothing to hide, please follow my life on webcam Member 255, 3732 posts | Equally the person who lifts the weight first does make sense as well and it certainly simplifies the competition, coaching and scoring. When selecting a lift you know that you simply have to lift at least 1kg more than anything that has already been done to go into the lead.

Lost his pen, then found his pen. #phew Member 4899, 2956 posts | Ah, I see. No, I don't think so...not sure what they think the difference will be, unless they are also changing the order of deciding factors to try and make it more exciting somehow?
