yoga is ace !

today : run with the dogs 5.39km in 35mins 21 seconds took it nice and steady .

1 hour muay thai , elbows in the clinch and a controlling the clinch , fun!

and then 10 3 minute rounds of shadow boxing with 1 minutes rest between.

5.5 mile run with dogs 58.52

and then 5 3 minute rounds of sparring with my son , which was basically him trying to take my head off with everything he could throw at me while I tried to hold him off with my jab and counter when he left himself vulnerable , he caught me with a wicked spinning back fist
on the temple and a lovely little uppercut to the chin. i also discovered he doesn't understand the meaning of the word taking it easy.

sometimes its ace being a dad.

no mate how did he get on?

let me guess training went really well , then didn't feel well on the day and didn't quite perform as well as he'd hoped and feels like he let himself and his training partners down?

Apparently he wasn't last. Didn't finish the farmers, couldn't move the fire engine, couldn't do the throw for height, 1 rep on 45 dumbell, 240 on max dead from 18 inch, got 3 out of 5 stones. That's how rob summed it up to me anyway.

thats a decent performance for beefy to be fair.

tonight: muay thai 1 hour working on trigger punches off blocking , most enjoyable session to date.

yesterday: 1 hour muay thai practicing basics 3 /4 and 5 punch combos, kick checks, and blocks.

today :

reverse band deadlift 190kx3 170kx3/3/3 single arm kettle bell overhead press 16k 10/10/10

feeling tired this week , had monday off and didn't train and just kept it easy today.

so the reverse bands make it harder once its off the floor ?

don't you have a 20 kettlebell ? 16 must be a bit easy for THE NED ??
