For me personally Billy I think doing OH less is making them weaker rather than doing road work. That and getting older. There's only so much energy and time to do fun stuff. I don't think many marathon runners have big OH lifts.

60 mins on road bike turbo. More of a play with my new Garmin than a serious session.

Good news - windows mobile/ garmin managed to come up with a garmin connect app just in time for xmas present opening.
Bad news - Bluetooth connectivity seems a little flaky. Looking forward to getting out and about to share in the satellite bandwidth.

Apparently my Mrs can track where I am online now. I remember the good old days when I was just 'in' or 'out' Unhappy

Also getting in 3 walks a day (first thing, diner & evening) totalling about 7.5 miles. I want to be more like Pete Hodgson than Pete himself.

That's impressive Andy,thinking of doing something similar myself even if its just walking the dogs again at night....be f**ked if I'm doing the early shift though I don't function properly in the early hours.

I don't think it would suit everyone Andy, but the early one is for the dogs, dinnertime is to get me away from work for an hour and only the evening one is an addition. Not killing it in a day, but mounts up over time. Pete Hodgy used to do a lot of walking before he savaged his foot, and didn't do him any harm (unless it was the walking that did his foot Unhappy )

You've reminded me there's a picture of you in my gym,its been there about 7 years but I only just spotted it tonight.
It was my first comp at Colne and you were side spotting me on one of my squats,you were wearing a funky white disco tshirt and were rocking a small powerbelly.

Long story short it was a bloke I used to work with who grew up in kids homes who told me about that certain game,he also quite proudly told me he never "cum last" Grin

First day of the year back on the bike. It was cold, dark and slow, but fun.

Went to the local boxing gym tonight. An hour of 2 min on 30 sec off shadow boxing, bag, pad and circuits. All apprehensions faded as the hour went on and passed surprisingly quickly. Sweated like a good un and enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next one.
