I move like Monty Burns on stairs and getting up and down from chairs for a day or two after squatting. Is there some post squat massage I should be doing or is the 90 year old shuffle normal?
I usually warm up with an empty bar and gradually move up the weights in 20kg increments doing sets of 5 to my work set.
I don't wrap my knees.

I wouldnt go that far. But knee sleeves will do wonders. Buy them. Love them.

Whats the difference between wraps and sleeves? Is it just the warmth and if yes would an old sock be as good?

How skinny are your legs if a sock is wide enough to wear as a sleeve?

And yes, a thick sock would do the job of a single ply sleeve i suppose.

I think you must have technique issues mate. You are 105kg bodyweight but only squat 125kg. I doubt it's the squats doing any knee damage unless your technique is woeful.

Rugby socks.

Not great on mobility work. I was doing frog stretches and moving around while in squat to warm up ankles for a while, but I found warming up by doing deep squats with the bar easier.

Wear sleeves. I didn't. I've had a knee operation and my knees are seriously f**ked. I'm 29. Even cheap ones from JD Sports or Boots.

Grab a pvc-pipe and roll out all sides of your thighs. Or at least use a bar and sit on a bench, roll the bar down your quads one leg at the time.

Also, be very strict about where you place the pressure on your feet when squatting. Weight should be mostly on your heels and outside of your foot - not on your toes.
