Background

Strongman wanna-be, 118kg, did plenty of comps, mostly battling for bottom positions, fluked some comps for nice position, went heavier and heavier, tore pec tendon, lost 13kg and all strength.

During the rehab got fitter, some could say even faster and more explosive, and built some of the strength back up. Bodyweight now at 104-105kg with a great set of hair.

The rehab log is now over, its time to start looking forwards.

Strength is still behind, maybe at around 80%, depending on the lift. Back squats and pressing are especially behind, front squats and deadlifts are feeling good. Feeling good enough about my training now to start planning my next comp build ups. The training will still be cautious, maybe paranoid, and balls wont hit the wall still for a while.

Main goal

The whole summers build up is for this competition:

FINLANDS STRONGEST MAN U105kg

QUALIFIERS, Friday 31st of July:

Medley: sack loading x 2 + 120kg farmers for 20m + tyre flip x 2. Head to head.

Log medley 100, 110, 120 , 130 , 140

Farmers 120kg for 60 m. head to head

Truck pull with harness 20-25 m

Car deadlift for max

Main lifts

- Log press back to where it was, 115kg
- Nail the farmers walks with the goal to get 60m with 120kg farmers, which would be double the all time PB
- Deadlift, big PBs are expected - and necessary - here.

LETS GO!
