I'm drinking plenty of soya milk at the moment because the wife buys it and it's surprisingly good. Makes me far less bloated than cow milk. Made me think if you. You're a big guy and maintain this on a vegan diet. How do you get the cals in? I made a lentil and chickpea curry tonight and it was great! Can you give me a list of foods you rely on week in week out to keep the weight up? Thanks | ||

Smallsy, THE PLAN has been stuck to for over a week now, is that a new pb? Planning to stick to THE PLAN for a bit now, may as well, dont really have any comps f**king up the training now either do i! (highland games dont count) doctor and josh, cant see the fuss to be honest, but then again I am so used to it. I think anyone who drops the animal bits and bobs would find that the start can be a bit overwhelming and then it just becomes a second nature and you think what was the fuss about. Just met James Wilks (UFC dude, the winner of ultimate fighter few seasons back) and he was saying as well how he thought it would be really hard as an athlete to go vegan, but then it was not a big deal at all. but yeah, how do i get the calories in... i think the trouble is more how to keep the calories out so i dont pack on too much fat Too many cake and ice cream places in my neighborhood with vegan stuff! I eat pretty normal, i wish i ate more vegetables and stuff like lentils or chickpeas because its healthy stuff, but i dont. Instead i eat a lot of meaty things, burgers, meatballs, soya mince type of things, tofu and tempeh, with the normal stuff like pasta rice and potatoes. Today i ate pizza for lunch, yesterday dinner it was pasta with tempeh (fried to f**k, flavoured nicely). I also neck fair bit of soya milk, soya yoghurt and stuff like that because its tasty and convenient. should really write this stuff down some day | ||

I've always got some normal soya milk in the fridge though. I hear what you're saying. Eating vegan and healthy is harder than people think. You do end up having to fry a lot of stuff to make it palatable. | ||
