Hasn't always been a bench press specialist Member 44, 1907 posts SQ 252.5, BP 220, DL 210682.5 kgs @ 83kgs Eq | It shouldn't effect training at low to moderate doses, although there is a slight risk he will gain some weight but that isn't certain and risperdal tends to have less effect on weight than other antipsychotics such as olanzapine or quetiapine. Risperdal does have a sedating effect but this wears off within an hour or so of waking. The benefit of improved mental health will improve training far more than any possible minor decrease in strength. Also to look at the way these drugs effect the brain I can't see how they could reduce strength. | ||
