WSM prediction thread 2013

I think group 5 is wide open at the moment, any 2 of the 4 guys currently top could go through. Mike is a tremendous strongman, maybe he's just having some bad days.

It's strange that the best squatter is also the worst yoke guy in that group!

That overhead medley has misha written all over it.

Remember an old thread were Terry saying tho he wasnt a great squatter, he has always been very strong on the yoke

Is there an update of the placings and points and whats left to go somewhere?

I'm sure Hixxy trained truck pull last year as it was supposed to be in WSM then, but wasn't. Dunno if he's trained it since? Maybe when he went under the radar for a bit? lol

I think the guy updates everything in one go when the day is ended

i foolishly thought that once, saw him at UKS last year when loyd renals and chris gearing pushed him, he was moving fast in chain drag and carry and truck pull, he can move when he wants.

Unfortunately that seems to be pretty much the case with all events aside from the ones which are near replica's of gym movements. Didn't he admit that he pretty much never trained events even not that long ago?

I suspect he probably trains them now but he's gonna be playing catch up against guys who regularly hammer the events month in month out for at least a couple of years.
