Well i'm getting a rep session in again during my weekend back during the 2 weeks off, hopefully a rep PB again, then do 1 more rep PB week when I get back then the following week destroy 120-125kg! 130kg by xmas Grin

Are you allowed to snatch the dumbbell in the comp? It would save afew seconds.

Cheers mate, not so long ago a 100kg push press was tough, 95 for a comfy 10 is nice progress, 130kg by years end I hope Happy

Cheers Dom, my pressing is certainly on the up thanks to rep work, I was really pleased with 95kg x 10, 125kg push press would be awesome!

Log work is work in progress, its not the weight as such, the technique is my main issue, get that nailed I have 110+ there I think.

Not too bad today, knees feeling very sore though and tbh I was silly to attempt another max PB 2 weeks running, it never works. The 245kg moved swiftly but last week it was like a speed rep this week not so much. Stupidly I also went for 280kg lol! To be fair I ripped it from the floor and it flew to my knees but I was not 100% commited to the lit I don't think and form was not spot on and despite fighting with it failed the lift. I definitely think on a better day I have it now though so pretty pleased. The grunt work of triples with 227.5kg was tough as hell and beat me up well, decent graft. Stupidly I then added some more volume with reverse bands. Destroyed me this week, should tide me over the next 12 days sans deadlifting Happy

Awesome sets, feeling very strong on them and the 155's were all done with a few reps in the tank but done only with 45-60 second rests, my upper back felt hammered afterwards, really feel these are helping my lockout, getting very explosive on them.

Trying to get some cleaning practice in as i'm stupidly weak at them, still prefer a bigger log to clean and press but hoping when I go for a lift with a 12" log next time I will find it easier now. The 100's felt very tough but then back was very tired already.

Cheers doc, my upper back is in bits now! I can see a 200kg row going with a bit of effort soon, be nice to be getting 3-5 reps on about 180kg though, that HAS to help all my lifts!?! Upper back is looking wider every day Happy

Just been having a mess about with 18" beltless deads:

150kg x 10

290kg x 1 beltless PB
275kg x 8 singles total rep/weight PB

Wasn't expecting that, was just messing about, the 290 was tough though, took ages to break the pins but then popped up nicely Happy

unlucky with the 280 but still plenty of strong sets in there. crazy rows too.

lol how ur back was able to handle that after earlier i dont know. after my last deadlift session my back was still in bits 2 days later lol
