In that case, should I go for the 1m one or the 1.4m one?

I bought the 1m one, top piece of kit. Think in hindsight probably would have shelled out the little extra for the longer one. I'm sure you'd be happy with either, all the bits I've had from there have been top notch

I definitely agree with the other guys. If you can afford it go with the 1.4m, it makes for a slightly harder press once plates are added but makes other logs feel easier in my experience.

I feel the 1m are easier to clean harder to press and vice versa for the 1.4m. I would always go 1.4m as that's what most comps use and it's the exact ifsa spec.

I have a 1m log. Not from atlas stones.
I agree with what was said above. Longer seem more difficult to press.
So I say go for 1.4m. As my log is easy to press, and in a comp I struggle with longer.

If price, storage or portability are an issue consider the small log. If not, get the big one.

Cheers for the advice everyone. 1.4m one from JT is the plan then. Nice one.
