Hercules hold
160kg farmers 1 drop and out
160kg stone for reps
3'' axle clean and press 110kg no belt/continental cleans
arm over arm thick rope
Who would win that?

wow. I usually need a good 3 months to stretch my paddles in the 1s!!
thanks for the infos mate. think im gonna play safe and get a pair of 1s while there are still some to get.

They feel more flexible due to the flyknit style upper rather than leather, but yes, narrow.

Take what I say with a pinch of salt, as I have only worn them in the lounge Happy

General got a pair of the black and orange 2s though and loved them. He is also a 1 conisuer (spelling) and likes the new shoe, and unlike myself, has lifted in them. He knows a bad shoe as well, as he tried the rom 3s and hated them, as did I, so if an adipower fan, I would say they are a great investment

Plenty of colours

I have them, and they look good in person, feel great on feet as well, but I would say Will, they seem narrower than the 1s, and they are a narrow shoe.

I will say, this is all hyperbole currently, as I am yet to wear them as they are white, and training on a farm is not conducive to white footwear. They will be christened when I can train in my gym again 😂.

They are certainly not as fat as the do-win clown shoe

Will add, I have both red and black versions of the adipower 1s as well. So can give a nice comparison

Please read the book people !
I nearly had a stroke when i watched the film, it was so terrible.
not taking anything away from flash and his superb yellow wig.

Ahh, Mr Boar, I shall add to the reading list. I expect I will be blown away, as I was a virgin to the story and loved the film, soundtrack and all.

The wig brings great reading knowledge

If you haven’t already, check out the film Ready Player 1, good film based on exactly what you mentioned above

200kg

212.5kg (comeback pb)

220kg agonisingly close to lock out

If this was a "proper comp" I would have taken 215kg for the whites.

Around £2k was raised for Parkinsons £80 of which came form a T-shirt Bish donated to be auctioned Happy

£80? I hope it was worn 😂

Too benching as always, still my strength hero

Nimble said:What a joke. Now Novikov loses to a guy he was 7 points ahead of and beat soundly in every other event.

And he did 13 reps with a 200kg stone and still didn’t go through, I would be livid

The Stones cost him a final place last year. He's good. But at that level good isn't always good enough.
I think Bish is very good at the other events. Having it all comes down to the stones makes him a lot less likely to qualify IMO.

The stones cost him last year, as he had a torn bicep going into the event (which also badly cost him on another event).

Knowing him as I do, I’m sure he would class stones as one of his better events

MJG said:Basically all the established top guys should hit top 3 on those events. It then just comes down to who is best at stones. Great news if your a Stoltman. Less good if you're Bish or Shahlaei.

I take it you have never seen Bish lift stones?

I think he was only beaten by the Stoltman brothers at Brits this year, and only by a few seconds.

He has always been a great stone lifter, and his conditioning should pay dividends in an event like this.

Mon’ the Bish

Find it amazing Bish misses out winning by 1.5 points and barely gets a mention. Congrats old buddy!

Also, massive result for G. Congrats to my fellow Morecambe Mong.

I was at BSM u105kg in 2011 when the result was the same, hixx 1 and Bish 2. Now there is a 10 year (almost) transformation Happy
