Since training got boring last year due to injuries (SI on 2 occasions and quad in my last comp) and my cut I started to lose interest in training/ logging. Decided to have another crack on here.

For anyone that's not the grand total of 3 people that read my old journal I'll give a bit of background here....

I'm a 23 year old scottish bloke studying medicine in Limerick, Ireland. I attempt to compete in powerlifting and the odd strongman comp when it suits me, just trying to be as strong and muscular as I can whilst staying u105kg and currently drug-free (for anyone that gives a s**t about that last part).

Currently experimenting with layne nortons reverse diet protocol for anyone interested.

I found it under the dumbbell rack, My grip sucks so I'm going to try to push it to being able to hold 100kg for 20 seconds eventually.

Kicking my ass on squats, and beltless! I've found beltless deadlifts to be really beneficial, actually makes pulling feel way more comfortable for me, but I defo add a few KG when I throw the belt on.

I hate doing them, I feel like I'm made out of glass afterwards, feel fairly fragile if I go above 80ish%
