Should of deadlifted today but the lower backs a bit tender, dont know if id slept on it funny or what but wasn't risking it. Widegrip bench felt weird...really weird but by the fith set felt totally normal?? Confused Roll-Eyes

Changed up the deadlift technique a little today, of recent ive been hitting the knees on the heavier sets so in short ive been bringing the hips forward too soon.
So today ive been lifting more with the back at the start of the lift...Seem to do the trick as i didnt hit the knees once and the lifts felt pretty good, ill take that for the win Grin

Doubles went well on bench, the last set with 135 felt like i probably had a third in me, the progress has been slow on bench but its going in the right direction. Some singles next week hopefully a small pb again

Had all good intentions of squatting tonight but my elbows were throbbing a bit from bench on Monday and i knew the squatting would make them worse Unhappy

This session is a day early as it was a day of heavier singles i needed someone to spot me, as there was no guarantees id have anyone on the Monday. So i jumped in a session with me old training partner Andy, my only problem was i knew i wasn't properly rested and i paid for it in the session.
As soon as i got to 130 i knew i wasn't at my best and the first 140 was a grind, im pretty confident id be good for a 145 on a good day. Roll-Eyes
Anyhow back to lighter fives next week to build back up again Wink
