I took a deload session today to try and help my shoulders heal up.

Bench Press
1 x 10 20 kgs
1 x 5 40 kgs
1 x 5 55 kgs
1 x 5 70 kgs
1 x 5 85 kgs
1 x 5 100 kgs
1 x 5 90 kgs (Paused)

Inverted Rows 3 x 10
Dips 3 x 15
Face Pulls 3 x 15
Dumbell Curls 3 x 20

Everything was nice, light and fast as you might imagine. I enjoyed doing the face pulls, they actually felt quite good for my shoulders.

Light squats tomorrow.

Haha I think my legs are still too sore for that mate, plus won't be over at the palace tomorrow, back next week though.

Boring deload this afternoon.

Squats
1 x 5 20 kgs
1 x 5 70 kgs
1 x 5 100 kgs
1 x 5 120 kgs

Hang Cleans 4 x 5
Leg Raises 3 x 15

Yep that is all I did lol, everything stupidly easy.

Haha yeah definitely mate, they were pretty damn sore after squats and deads on saturday. Hope you have a good session later on buddy.

I did another deload upper body session today.

Bench Press (Pinkies on the rings)
1 x 10 20 kgs
1 x 5 45 kgs
1 x 5 60 kgs
1 x 5 75 kgs
1 x 5 90 kgs
1 x 5 105 kgs
1 x 5 95 kgs (Paused)

Military Press 4 x 5
Pull Ups 3 x 8
Pushdowns 3 x 15
Face Pulls 3 x 15

Really easy once again. I love face pulls they feel great for my shoulders, I think I will be doing them a lot in the coming weeks.

You reckon it was your rear delts and rotators giving you the bother?
Seems a bit silly now that I think of it because of the level of your back development.
How are the shoulders feeling anyway? Any less sore?

I'm not sure mate, it might just be a balancing out the shoulder gurdle thing and the face pulls help do this and feel very therapeutic. Between the deload and the face pulls my shoulders are starting to feel good again thankfully!

Glad to hear it. Ain't nothing worse than niggles and injuries cropping up when s**t's going well.

I'm starting to do face pulls for the same reason mate - I'm blaming old age for all these bloody niggles!
