Contrary to popular belief, there IS NOT any clause in Sugden barbell terms and conditions which states that every time a WSM competitor posts a TRAINING video that it has to be criticised.

Agreed.

This is not powerlifting! As long as its good for the condition Rob competes in, then its a good lift.

That is what you call a monster weight. The fact he even moved it is mind boggling.

Not sure that it really matters whether rob locked out or not, its half a bloody tonne! I think people should only criticise technique/position etc when they can do it too!

Amazing lift! Wish I could even move that........Maybe I could move 505kg if I rolled it along the ground!

Regardless of the actual lift in question the above is clearly a load of bulls**t.

If the above was actually a resonable propersition then every coach on the planet would have to be a better athlete at what they coach than their athletes. In sprinting this would mean Bolt is the only person whom could coach everyone in the 100m! Obviously this is not the case. The majority of sports pundits would be out of business too (maybe not a bad thing lol).

exactly!

As I said, mind boggling to get the weight moving, but it's not a deadlift (which is what the thread title calls it) by any standards be they PL or strongman. This is pedantic and makes me sound arsy but if people are going to attack my comment then I shall defend it!

Rob Frampton; I've never met you and your training is insane. Keep up the good work.

I really do get this comment. The best coaches are usually not the best athletes
