PS3 or X Box?

Neither!

I'd rather do a crossword or Sudoku. Hate computer games!

Hand me a controller and I haven't got a clue what to do with it. Kids these days seem to be born with an in-built ability to play computer games.

This reminds me of the old Sega vs Nintendo when I was little.

Tbh I can't be bothered with games now once I've sat through the intros and cut scenes I've lost interest

Got a halo reach edition 250gb slim xbox, the best one out at the moment... Not that I like to brag about it Grin Roll-Eyes Games for xbox are so much better such as halo reach, gears of war, fable and there are plenty more than I can't think of right now Tongue

Never owned a console in my life. Would much rather go out and do something constructive, read a book, browse the internet (not just porn, there's plenty of good forums too) or get some extra sleep.

do you have no unconstructive pastimes then? watching tv/films? arguably depending on your choice of material reading books is not exactly constructive.

Not read any post but I have both.

Ps3 = 3D compatibility. Awesome

Xbox = better for gaming IMO

I rarely watch films or TV. But that's not the point and is fairly irrelevant. But even if it was, with gaming, one hour turns into two, which turns into three, which turns into a whole night.

Ah well what ever makes ya happy, and an xbox/ps3 kills a bit of time.

Apparently xbox are bringing out a blu ray version. I'd wait for that

I don't see it as irrelevant, you would rather do something constructive I was just pointing out that reading a book although seen as a more worthwhile pastime might not really be constructive in any way. For example I am reading Harry Hill's book at the minute, it's funny but complete bulls**t, not in any way educating me, but it's still reading!
But I get your point about 1 hr turning into 3 or more.

the xbox head honchos have said blu ray will soon be surpassed by digital downloads/streaming, so they will 'never' put a blue ray player in the xbox

To be honest i get that if im reading a good book. The last book i read from halfway through to the end in one night. Just because i couldnt put it down.

Wasnt particularly consttructive either...

In my opinion the blu ray was the only thing the ps3 had over xbox, even if they arent gonna put it in i still prefer xbox.

For everything else i use my laptop, its more user friendly (cant stand browsing on consoles) and streams tv/porn quicker.

I'm not reading Harry Hill's book, though. Now with a good book, one hour can also turn into two as well, of course.
