Aiming for a 250 squat by the end of 2012 Member 1989, 3168 posts SQ 240, BP 140, DL 270650.0 kgs @ 90kgs UnEq | I did both together on Friday, don't normally but I was short on time this week. Personally I wouldn't recommend it, as I think the two movements and muscles involved are too similar. I can't give the same effort to both if I do them together. | ||

This would then allow another session of speed squats later in the week. | ||

my face was on fire Member 494, 2394 posts SQ 250, BP 150, DL 320720.0 kgs @ 150kgs UnEq | as people have said its hard at first but you get used to it. although I am not mega strong statically so take this with a pinch of salt I have pulled pb's then squatted pb's and the other way round, so I wouldnt worry about the order you do them in either plus it might come up in a comp that you have to do both so best being used to it imo | ||

Member 1407, 1629 posts SQ 215, BP 187.5, DL 270672.5 kgs @ 105kgs UnEq | I'll Squat first and then do some SLDL or Deadlift off blocks, maybe some farmers holds When i Deadlift i'll do 2 variations of deadlift, rows and then maybe farmers holds I just treat them as lower body days, then have a upper body day inbetween them. So i pull every 4 days, squat every 8 days, press every 4 days. I am thinking of throwing some lighter Squats in though on Deadlift days. | ||
