Wednesday 25th March 2015 - RE Squats and Deads @ Middlewood

Heavy rep night marks the end of this 9 week training cycle, lets see what it brings us....

      I would have liked an extra rep or two on the first big set, but I'll take 6 reps (I've not been keeping on top of my conditioning work over the last few months so it's no surprise that my top end repping ability is suffering a little)

    Also did some DOH shrugs for grip, KB Swings, Glute Ham Raises and a spot of calf work



Pretty decent end to a training cycle - There is still room for improvement on the squat front so I'm still optimistic that there are big numbers to come Cool

Looking forward to have a break next week, as we're going glmaping and I'll only be doing a couple of very light sessions

I'll do a light front squat and deadlift session tomorrow and a light bench and squat session throughout the week.

Nice and easy, but very short rest periods turned this into a bit of cardio session Grin

The 170kg pulls from the floor felt a good bit easier than from the 3" blocks - 12" is a very awkward height to pull from for Mr Macca!
