Bench is fine , deads are not great to be honest m8 , they cause me so much pain i really am considering dropping them entirely until right before comp time

is it because of you issue with the side?

Yeah , it really is a massive issue with deadlifting type movements , everything else feels strong as hell but if i deadlift now i pull it away from my legs linewise ,it seems my body wants to try and get past where the rib muscle is required to work , and it just causes so much pain in the following days.
If i had a damaged back from deadlifting i could understand that , but being held back by a torn muscle in my ribs is mega depressing !!!
Thing27/03/14 @ 13:02
know how you fell loon, but dropping deadlifting might be a good idea for a while, just do other exercises that train the muscle group. have you had an xray to rule out a broken bone or something like that?
Leggiez27/03/14 @ 13:07
I have been to doctors and they scanned it etc , its a mess of scarring tissue like eye shaped , so i know what the issue is. At least its not herniated or s**t , i guess because its over the rib bones it never gets to heal because it gets rubbed and aggravated every time i do actually train .

thats s**t loon, as your doing time away from deadlifting and maybe some deep tissue work on th eribs migt help break up the scar tissue
