Member 2775, 6927 posts | Gotta give Eddie props for how well he hid that right hand, f**king stealth mode. I'm pretty sure some people did not catch on to his game plan (since they couldn't get the stream to work). Maybe he had an invisibility cloak on an thought Thor couldn't see him loading up for the 30 seconds prior to each punch he threw but the cloak didn't fit an he just didn't realise Thor could actually see him.

what is everyone's fran time? Member 3986, 10449 posts SQ 340, BP 200, DL 400940.0 kgs @ 129kgs Eq | I thought Thor was really impressive. Solid fundamentals, boxed tall and did the job. Great conditioning too, looked absolutely fine for 6 rounds which is a hell of a long time in a boxing ring.

See You Next Tuesday Member 2254, 3824 posts SQ 240, BP 165, DL 300705.0 kgs @ 89kgs UnEq | Had a good night out watching this Won a takeaway after BNSF as Thor won. Also predicted the next fight would be Thor Vs Martin Ford

Couldn't finish an oversized fat bloke, who had literally one punch. He's also a southpaw facing an orthodox fighter - and nobody likes southpaws - who couldn't keep his left guard up half the time. They should both move on to something different. Freak show is over.

Nothing left in the tank. Member 5, 25563 posts Administrator | fair play to both of em coz from my limited experience, boxing is so god damn exhausting , it seems thor managed his energy better and being taller gave him the advantage , losing sucks but Eddie certainly put the work in 10/10 for effort, both very good boys.

Another, is an amateur boxer stuck to a gameplan and relied on his fundamentals to completely nullify his opponent. Sure he could have gone in for the kill a few times, but that would have exposed him more and given Mr One Punch an opportunity to land. He stuck to the plan and convincingly won the fight - Remember Thor is a super green amateur, expecting more of him at this stage is a bit optimistic in my opinion...

What amateur gets to do that? He did not look like someone who has any innate boxing ability if this was the case. Eddie looked like he had been training for about 2-3 months. And still managed to put him to the canvas - twice, was it? And Eddie was simply awful. They are both very poor. Thor was better - but, in some ways, more of a disappointment considering how diligent he said he was with his training.

Ham but hey Member 4787, 205 posts | I for one thoroughly enjoyed it and was surprised by just how good they both were. Assuming it was going to be a s**t show of two big dudes tensing up and being exhausted with staff arms flailing about I was smiling the whole fight. Thor stayed composed and managed to keep his head and this technique, despite Eds obvious lack of hand skills actually had pretty hard to master skills in slipping away from Thors combos many times...his head movement was good to see. Not sure how much else could have been asked for from these two...two big knockdowns from both men and they both managed to get back up and continue. I used to yell at fighters on the TV when I was younger to keep hands up and keep moving...then I got in the ring with training and realised just how brutal it really is and never shouted at a fighter again after that. Bravo and thank you for the entertainment from me!

Bravo and thank you for the entertainment from me! I just watched it again now that the dust has settled and I'm willing to show more respect Thor boxed very composed for his level and it was a professional performance for such a novice. He listened to his corner and stuck to a gameplan Eddie's punch selection was very predictable, but he moved pretty well when he wasn't fatigued and was awkward for Thor. He knew Thor would have the rigid upright stance, so he made himself a lower target and was relying on reflexes to land the huge overhand right Both guys were very tough and didn't want to lose. No matter what we think of there skills, their power can not be questioned. Both guys fought hard and deserve credit The more disciplined man won on the night

People slagging them off as though they are professional fighters. They've had two years but that included having to lose 50kg of bodyweight from Thor, he was really impressive.

Neither trained like a normal beginner. Tbh i would have expected Ed to do a bit better considering all the bravado. He needs to heal his eyes up, quit punching arcade machines, join a gym full of honest coaches and do a few real fights. Then he should go knock Thor out.
