Internet was down - AGAIN - had to wait hours for Sky to sort it out.

As the far related offspring of Alexander Graham-Bell and Douglas Engelbart tinkered away, I did some exercise.

For about 25 minutes.

5 sets of 4 minute jump rope tabatas.

Only 20 seconds between each set.

Got to an average of 40 skips per 20 second work period.

Then continued waiting.

Weighted pull ups up to 20kg.

BW x 5 x 3 sets

Neutral Grip Incline DB Press: 25kg x 10 x 3 sets

Hi-2-lo cable flyes x 12 x 3 sets per arm

Lat Pulldowns x 8 x 3 sets

Lying Hamstring Curls: 10 reps, ascending weight, for 6 sets b2b

Leg Extensions: 10 reps, ascending weight, for 6 sets b2b

Back Extensions, 5 sec down, 2 up, 2 pause: 4kg x 8 x 3 sets

Got to the gym at about 5am.

There was already another loser there. That early on a Sunday morning!?!

His life must be worse than mine. Which is inspiring, in some ways.

Sled.

The sled weighs 45kg. I put another 45kg on it.

The carpeted strip it runs on is about, I don't know, 12 metres. Maybe more. Let's say 12.

Push it to one end - pull it back = 1 rep.

Did 5 sets of 10 reps. So about 1,200 metres.

Allowed myself a sip of drink between each set.

I then did another set of ten reps, adding an additional 22.5kg every two reps, so by the last two reps, I had 135kg loaded on to the sled.

All in, took just under an hour.

Went to the gym.

Rolling

Warm UP

Leg Curls and Extensions for a set of 20 each.

Put cambered bar attachments on an old SSB - Voila: 35kg Spider Bar.

Doubled Mini Bands - about 75kg of tension: 2 x 10 sets

Added a further 20kg to the bar: 2 x 7 sets

Leg Press: 100kg x 10 x 3 sets

Paused Leg Extensions: 60kg x 12 x 3 sets
