I think the general consensus in the CBL community is that you'll get used to it. The symptons you describe are just due to your body not getting carbs/food when it's used to, a week or two and you'll get used to it. If you don't get used to it by that point, then you probably never will.
If you change things around then by eating carbs spread out during the day then it's not really CBL any more. I'd then say you'd be better of sticking to your previous diet approach.
My question to you though is why? You're already in good shape, why change things around now?
If you just want to try something different, here's another option for you (And because I know how we all love the twins lol):

hodge twins !!!!!!! lol ...... just doing it to bulk up but i get fat really quick (endomorphic bas***d) so if i just cane food i always go up to 90kg really fast but i have learnt that being 83kg lean and 90kg chunky dosen't really change my perforamnce infact it proberly gets worse! So i wanted to slowly add weight over the next 6/7 months

So, you want to increase your weight and to do this you are going to limit the period in which you can consume carbs to just a few hours a day? Confused

To gain weight you HAVE to be in a positive energy balance, this is far easier to achieve when you can eat throughout the day.

Why not just carry on eating like a normal human being, just make sure it is mainly clean, but then adapt your training so that you are working more into a hypertrophy rep range, get bigger that way and then gradually move over to the lower rep work to utilise the additional size you have put on?

I'm actually getting more and more respect for the Hodge Twins! Maybe, they've brainwashed me! Eek

I think you are underestimating the amount you are supposed to eat after training.

You are most definitely NOT an endomorph mate - you are probably the perfect mesomorph. If you've bulked to 90kg and gotten chunky it's simply because you have upped your calorie intake too much too quickly.

Start by adding 500kcals extra a day check on your weight in 2-weeks time. If nothing happens add another 250kcals - check in 2-weeks etc etc. Once you weight is increasing keep the calorie intake the same until there is no weight difference for at least 2-weeks, then repeat the process.

Easy! Happy

Not at all, I know you are supposed to consume shed loads so that your glycogen stores are completely replenished, however, eating 500g of clean carbs is a fairly mammoth task, especially if you are training at night/late evening.

on CBL he doesn't say clean carbs, anything but

but I try and do it clean, 100 grams of dextrose/malto post training, then 750 - 1000 grams of potato in a meal, TOUGH GOING, but tasty

I think if you want to bulk, you should just eat as much as you can, throughout the day

Yes, you may get a little fat, but you can sort that out 6 months down the line if you wish

Yep the whole point is high gi carbs, very sugary to spike your insulin levels

Like macca says - you need to do the prep phase to get used to running off fats for energy...its described in the book - about how you feel s**tty for a few days until you adapt.

Stick with it, it works Wink

Does anybody worry about their teeth rotting due to all the sugar?

That's one of the things regarding CBL that doesn't compute with me. (I've not looked into in enough depth to see what their scientific thinking is although i know they mention hormonal responses to fasting).

Insulin inhibits the breakdown of fat. FACT
To consume enough carbs during the backload the chances are you would have to consume quite a lot of simple sugars (and probably a good bit of fat to go alongside that unless you are purely eating sweets)
This in turn will cause a fairly hefty insulin response.
So why would anyone want to eat unclean carb sources and provide their body with the perfect environment to store fat?

Does anyone know the answer so that I don't have to read the damn book?
