Gyming Background - Been lifting since about the age of 15, on and off for the first couple years and not really any great knowledge of what I was doing. Body-building type stuff till around the summer of last year when my focus turned to strength training. Bench press really flew up from the start of summer till the end of august, something like 100? - 127.5kg. Since then little to no progress has been made on my bench Angry (thats about to change!!)

Current training week looks like:

Mon: Front Squat, Deadlifts, Back+Bicep Work
Tues: Back Squat, Bench Press or OHP
Wed: Front Squat
Thurs: Back Squat, Bench Press or OHP
Fri: Back Squat, Deadlifts, Back+Bicep Work
Sat: Back Squat
Sunday: Back Squat, Bench Press or OHP

Recently decided to start squatting to a daily max, followed by some back-off sets. Volume will start reasonably low and gradually added too. Anyone with any experience of this, would be great to hear some feedback.
For those unfamiliar with this approach, take a look at ( https://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/most_recent/max_out_on... )

Alternating between bench press and OHP using a 5/3/1 template.

Current PR's...
Front Squat: 112.5kg
Squat: 142.5kg
Bench: 127.5kg
Deadlift: 180kg
Total = 450kg

Lifts as of 29/01/2015
Back Squat: 185kg
Bench Press: 137.5kg
Deadlift: 210kg
Total - 532.5kg (+82.5kg in 9 months)

Are you familiar with Damien Pezzuti? A lot of his stuff on daily squatting is good. Along with Tom Martins journal on here. Happy

No problem. Happy

I'm not doing it at the moment, but if did it for a run of 4/5months and enjoyed it. I used it to work on technique & build up my high bar squat to the same as low bar. It's fun. I would like to do it, but it doesn't really fall in line with my current goals.

Enjoying the progress though, nice front PB.
