I was asking a question Luke. The retort "no s**t" doesn't work in this context.

So in terms of athleticism, what does that mean-that he's blessed with more fast twitch muscle fibres than the average Joe?

OK, I thought it was a bit of a stretch but I'm no expert. The elite standard for his weight is around 350lbs, and he does 2 reps of 400lbs?? Freaky deaky, he is only 5'9 and stacked so he has the right dimensions. Still pretty mind blowing.

Australian rugby player Will Genia is reported to have bench pressed 180kg for 2 reps. He weighs 85kg.
To my knowledge there is no video or proof other than the word of his teammates (it happened during team bench press testing a few years ago).

Do you think this is believable?

Wayne_Cowdrey said:Yes, it was Terry. The difference is very small, but nevertheless there is a difference. The inconsistency of the loading speed is a bigger issue. Flawed.

One of the barrels got stuck for Shaw in the deadlift once, not for long but it definitely cost him a second or so.

There's enough moving events you doughnut, most of us want to see static events like the squat, overhead and deadlift so we can actually find out who the worlds strongest man is

Watch powerlifting then. "Worlds strongest man" is a misleading title, it should be called "World's best strongman".

I first heard of him when some hurtful comments he made about an opponent made the news. That's one thing I don't like about boxing, some of the pre fight drama is like WWE or something.

I recently viewed a youtube video of the top 100 alternative rock songs of the 90's. It had Ironic by Anus Morrisette at # 1. Figure that one out.

Jason Bergmann a good example of this

My prediction is a blood orgy given the heaviness of the competition. The winner of the growing yoke will undoubtedly be several inches shorter afterwards!
