Laid in Crete 2 days after the all England, thought id best update this Tongue

Had a really good day out. Althought it was a really long day! Lifted 2 hrs later than planned...those post day shift sessions paid off!

Squats:
Up to 180

190 - easy. Played it safe due to late start
202.5 - easy. Won the squat with this...

210 - looked like an opener lol!! So easy. Pb.

Bench
Up to 110

115 - straight forward
125 - pretty quick
132.5 - got back cramp but eeked it up. Not much more there

Deadlifts!!

Up to 210

230 - easy
252.5 - English record. Easy.

262.5 - yorkshire and english record. All time pb Happy easier than my 261.5 3 weeks ago too.

Week & half off then onwards to the British!

High bar feels light, and is easier to set up for and is generally very fun for me.
Low bar is stronger obviously and better for hoisting more kgs.

Depends if owen even does the juniors?!
Itll be tight. Maybe. I dunno?! Im not concerned what anyone does Happy as long as i get pbs. I dunno whos even lifting mate Happy

Line much better than yesterday. Must remember this slightly narrower position and controlled descent. The rest is falling into place very well.

195 - fast enough but the bar path was a little behind where i wanted it to be. Not a bad thing as i know im staying upright as possible. Probably needed a slightly narrower stance. And I mean slightly.

Id love to help more but youre far stronger as it is haha.

Yep - England's a week on Sat. Got my aims set so few more training sessions then ill smash it.

As for Brits - ill probs do juniors as its my last yr of juniors & i cant peak twice in the same month and also Bournemouth is too far and expensive to go to put in 2 half performances. Id rather smash juniors with a good peak & do seniors next year. Juniors gives me 9 weeks of building after i get back off hols Happy plus itll give seniors another space for someone else and ill be competing against my own age group. Id love to do both but its not realistic. Ill see about aims nearer the time Happy

with regards to the deadlifts i know what you mean - i just adopt a blank mindset, grip and rip. The speed work i do helps me too because even with the heaviest of my weights i still pull them and intend for the same bar speed.
