I thought as I haven't seen any female journals on here I would jump on it..Except I made a video!..

A brief back ground on me..

I had just started playing rugby, loved running and just started getting into weight training in October 2011 and then I broke my leg in training. My running days are over so I decided to focus on lifting. Started off by power lifting, did one comp and won and then a tactical strength comp and won whooop.

Saw a post on Facebook about a strong woman comp at progressive training systems and knew there and then that strong woman is where I was meant to be.I came 4TH.One piont of 3RD through my own error and stressing out. I started training with Rob Frampton and I have had lot's of help from Sarah Lewis as well at Strength-Tec and the now here I am...Got lot's of events planned this year to gain lots of experience and get used to the different events. Then who knows?.World domination perhaps?. :-)

Lol they are pretty handy as 2.5kg is too much of a jump for me.
Yes planning to do the GBPF North West Divisional next month in Colne.Got any comps coming up yourself?

Great vid. I especially liked the bit were you "lost the plot" and tried arm curling the axle! Grin

Pretty inspiring stuff. I might make my girlfriend watch it and try and coax her off that bloody treadmill!!!!

I know my brain just left the building!.I had managed it once in training but hey..We live and learn...Were are you based just out of interest as I am holding a novice strong woman for charity in October at Strength Tec in Fareham so maybe you could talk her into that? I am finalizing the event this week so I will be putting it on here..And thank you for the comment..Happy

60kg log at 65kg bodyweight is awesome. Lots more strength there than your technique is letting you use as well, so expect some serious gains over the next 6 months. Whats your best normal dealift ?

We're based up near Leeds so about 300 miles away Unhappy
I think she'd do quite well if she put her mind to it cos she has that dogged determination which goes well with strongman/woman. She also used to play rugby as well until a "larger lady" fell on her knee and broke it so she's not adverse to a bit of physicality. Maybe I'll start using a bit of psychology on her tonight......
