I actually used to train at Freaky's as it was about 5 minutes from my house. Then I went off to uni and stayed down in London once I started my job. Now whenever I go back home (which is rarely I must admit) I just go to Resolution in south park industrial estate - it's not a great gym (plates being about 12' diameter for a start!!) but that's where my mates train. May give that Force 10 gym a go next time though, I honestly had no idea there were any proper lifters in the town. Can't remember the last time I saw more than a quarter squat from anybody there lol. | ||

Mainly doing bicep curls and not a lot else. Soon lost interest! Yeah man, give Force 10 a shot. Its a really good little gym! | ||

Singles on the bench felt awesome, reps were crap though. Didn't feel well set on the bench and I think that distracted me. Also, none of the reps were very snappy so I'm going to plug away for the rest of this week and then maybe take a short break from the bench. Decided to give myself a bit of tricep torture as punishment for the s**t reps on the bench. Happy with the tyre fun, it seems to get easier each time. | ||

I haven't done them in ages, probably over a year. I could tell, feel so slow compared to how I used to run. Also, decided to do a bit of direct ab work as its something I never normally do. Can't hurt! | ||

Slow and steady will win the race with my squatting comeback. Plan is 3 sets of 10, adding 10kg a week until I get up to 100kg. Then down to 8s and adding 5kg a week. See where I end up with that and then I'll start focussing on getting it stronger again! When I've played around with the tyre outside the gym before I've just flipped it until I've felt knackered enough for it to have been worthwhile. Today I decided to see how many I could do in a minute, not many was the answer. | ||
