just got PM'd Member 1945, 685 posts | thanks gents gary lets talk about this high bar low bar training ideas next time we see each other... you'll enjoy that maybe you could sort out my bench too, at this rate i might even become a half decent powerlifter!! today low bar squats barx5 barx5 70x5 80x5 100x5 120x5 140x5 belt on 155x5 easy this is looking good bench barx5 42.5x5 52.5x5 65x5 75x5 85x4 f 5 for goodness sake why can't i bench!! 85x3 ok new plan going to push the bench down and get some more leg drive... perhaps... we'll see bent over row 60x5 70x5 70x5 80x5 95x5 pb sit ups decline with 20 kgs 10,12,12,10 hypers with 20kg 10, 12 cuffs 12 reps 10 kgs stretch out | ||

just got PM'd Member 1945, 685 posts | just looking at a couple of things next weeks top set on deadlift will be 217.5 x5 with no hitching next monday top set on squat will be 165 x5 next monday top set on bent over row will be 95 x5 bench monday bench will be a repeat of friday or a another go at 85 x5 next week strict will be 67.5 x5 fridays bench will be a repeat on monday or another go at 85x5 fridays squat will be either 2.5kg or 5kg heavier than mondays depending on how monday's set feels then we will move onto triples | ||

just got PM'd Member 1945, 685 posts | today session one with work bench upto 85kgx2 chins 3 sets of 5 reps some rowing snatches 45kg a lot of times clean and jerk at same weight a lot of times SECOND SESSION squat bar x5 60x5 100x5 120x5 140x5 belt on 160x5 165x5 (pb) belt off 140x3 straight into 120x3 straight into 100x3 then bench (paused) barx5 45x5 55x5 65x5 75x5 80x3 85x3 90x3 (equal PB but this time paused) 80x5 then clean and jerk a little with 40 kgs waiting for bent over row 60x5 60x5 70x5 80x5 95x3 80x8 then dips (BW +5kg) 6 8 5 then cuffs 10 reps with 10kg then stretch then steak yeah buddy | ||
