 Still got a little bit of strength Member 400, 22057 posts | Who suffers from this, and what's your sound? Mine is a background hiss, but it's really bad/loud in my left ear at the moment  While we're on the subject of hearing, anyone ever get hearing loss during a lift? I had brief hearing loss in my left ear while strict pressing 111kg (near max) the other day. | ||

Havent suffered myself but wasnt there someone on here a while back who had damaged his eardrums diving and then squatting had made it worse , to the point his ears were bleeding? | ||

It's like I've just come home from a gig or night out. Only notice it when it's quiet and i become aware of it. Bit s**t though.....! | ||

Is this tinnitus? Tinnitus is when the sound is there all the time. I sometimes suddenly get a high pitched sound. The hissing is always there. | ||

A loud ringing, bit like a bell but a constant tone. C Major or so I think. I've lost hearing in one ear when walking out an equipped squat. Felt something in my ear all day and kept poking it, then felt something inside. Got someone to have a look and pulled out what must've been an inch long, red thing. Was dried blood but mixed with other stuff. I used to hear a doorbell ring for hours on end when i'd go for 24hrs plus without sleep, would drive me crazy. | ||

Did it 6 months ago when knocking render off my house with a Hammer Drill. I will now have an annoying reminder of my stupidity for the rest of my life...  | ||
