But with more expectations and better preparation. I was more rested, warmed up thoroughly (Which I stupidly didn't on Monday due to lateness)and was more determined to have a successful session. A couple of Jacket Spuds for lunch, a couple of lucozades in my gym bag and unsurprisingly I felt better, lifted better and most importantly was happy with my efforts. I video'd this session too so the comparison can be witnessed on the Tube... I even wore the same clothes too as they were freshly cleaned AM Abdominal Crunch Machine 85kg x 20,20,20 PM Weightlifting session at the club... Always a privilege 1 hour of coaching two brand new year 7 boys in their first ever session!!! AWESOME!!! 5 minutes to get my head together and away we go! Proper warm up this time, deep heat, dynamic stretches etc etc... Power Snatch 40kg x 3,3,3 60kg x 3 80kg x 2 90kg x 1 100kg x 1 110kg x 1 120kg x 1,1,1 Power Clean and Push Press 60kg x 3 80kg x 3 100kg x 1 120kg x 1 130kg x 1 140kg x 1 Power Clean 150kg x 1 Standing Press 60kg x 10 80kg x 1 90kg x 1 100kg x 1 110kg x 1 Let's also try to do this weeks squats and deadlifts again which I sacked off two days previously... Back Squats 70kg x 1 110kg x 1 160kg x 1 180kg x 1 202.5kg x 3,3,3,3 Done them! A very minor note, my right knee is temporarily a bit not workingy... Will be fine Deadlift alternating mixed grip 70kg x 1 110kg x 1 160kg x 1 200kg x 1 217.5kg x 3,3,3,3 Again a success... Had to do the last two sets together practically as the club was closing... Quickly got my camera out to video my final set of pulls and cracked on. Took my stuff out of the hall as the gym closed, had a sit down... and did some long hold lower body stretches in the corridor probably ten minutes later Fin | ||

Saw James briefely earlier today after my session at the club I don't think 170kg was there to be honest hense the weight choice I think... I will... With this weekly benching thingy... Get 12 reps in me at 150kg this week (with whatever more I wish to do while I'm there) and work from there | ||
