Looking solid as always bud.

Any thoughts about that DL? Taking a quick look at your journal you bench and squat in some variation almost every session, 4-5x week each and we know that's worked great for your squat especially. Deadlifting only seems to come in about weekly. Worth a go at upping the regularity a little?

Perhaps more technique work and the extra work on your grip will sort out the funny left grip?! You looked good for more when you attempted that PB before it started spazzing out!!!

Drop me a text soon pal you'll have to come done base for a session again.

Wicked box squatting mate! Couple things I've tried for my DL that seem to have worked if your interested...

-For grip I've started warming up DOH every time up to about 140-160
-Also ran 18-19" pulls for a few weeks to actually hold some heavy weight in my hands, combination of the 2 seems to have worked pretty well. Ended with 320x3 & 350x1 on this.
-The build up to the seniors had me doing squat/bench/DL 4x week; DL work was 2x SLDL for one top set of 5, 1x normal DL for top set of 5, and a partial range pull for a top set of 3. I think it was more the frequency of pulling that helped rather than the exercises though. Started at 180ish and ended on 220 for SLDL, normal DL started about 210 and ended at 260, for partial range I ran 18-19" pulls for 3/4 weeks then switched to 15" for 2/3 weeks
-Staying away from singles/90%+ work except for peak/taper. This may seem counter-intuitive but for me I've found working on rep PBs (70-85%) rather than singles to be a big builder of my pull.
-I used straps for SLDL. Sounds weird with me trying to build my grip strength, but in my experience over-stressing my grip just kills everything, so I think this helped limit the overall stress and allowed me to progress for longer with pulling 4x week. Also, my top weight for SLDL over the whole build up was only 220x5. It was definitley a hard set, but obviously 220x5 in terms of volume isn't as stressful as the 260x5 was. So I could strain on the movement and do it 2x week, but not over-reach as the volume was lower.

Bit of a ramble if I'm honest but hopefully something will be of use!
