OK, we can't be sure of the level of the other guys at Icelands strongest man, and the 2 other top guys weren't there, but still 7 wins out of 7 events is impressive, and in the photo he looks even BIGGER!

IMO, this year it will come down to Jenkins, Shaw, Thor, BigZ and one of the Brits or Poundstone for the top 5, with Jenkins winning

Whilst Thor is improving all the time, I don't think it will be his time yet. If Jenkins can carry his recent form through to WSM I can see him being a strong contender. Shaw will be back and will always give everything, big Z is a legend. Unfortunately I think Poundstone has missed his chance, he is very talented and strong but I think the competition is getting better all the time.

My money is also on Jenkins

My god, if that's how big the mooring bit looks with Thor carrying it - if must be f*cking huge!!

i think that Hafthor is a Good Strongman i don't think he'll be top at WSM, But only if Big Z, Big Loz, Terry, Jenkins are all on form will keep him out of there.

but anything is possible
AvatarTerminator
No disrespect to any of the top guys, but I think Jenkins will be the highest place competitor outside of the UK
AvatarDaws87
With the form hes in I think Jenkins is the man to beat but Shaw isnt give up his title without a fight. You can never count out big Z and the brit boys are in with a shot if they come in on form.

I don't think Thor will be there yet this year. I do think Shaw, big Z, Loz, Jenkins and Terry will be top 5, not in that order. Maybe even Loz's year, but on the same hand Terry was looking very lean in shape and big the other week at bodypower, you never know if he can stay injury free it might be his year.

Actually forgot about Burke and Misha

Burke seems like a monster, and well, who knows about Misha, something in me always wants him to win it
AvatarRyanH
Event dependent i hope Misha does well, Deadlift for reps, squat for reps and max log plz :P

It will be tough to make it to the final this year, the standards are going through the roof.
Avatarursus
To win one event in Icelands strongest man is impressive enough, but 7 is insane............ theres no such thing as a poor Icelandic strength athlete so he is really making a big statement!!!!
Avatarfong
I hope he places well, he's a huge guy. I also fancy Loz and Terry for top 5 again this year, this one's gonna be so tight it's mega exciting.
AvatarHywel
I think the top 5 could quite easily be (no order):- Z, Shaw, Jenkins, Loz and Terry.
