dont know if he telling the truth? why would he lie?
as he is a good friend of mine i know that this is fact, he wants to concentrate on power and gym lifts for now, events is every once in a while
as for not helping hes not exctly doing badly is he now

because every1 tells the truth all the time don't they... i'm not saying he's lying though, but i don't know him aswell as clearly you do so i'm not in a position to say whether he's telling the truth or not.

and i never implied he wasn't doing well, i actually think the sky is the limit 4 him, i just think imo if he was to event train regular then maybe that 4th place could of been a 2nd or a 3rd.

A few points-

Jeremy Hogg Is a Kiwi ex-pat who lives and works in Western Australia.
Derek Boyer pulled out 3 days out.
Jordan Steffans stepped in for Jono Macfarlane (kiwi) after he withdrew weeks ago.
Mike Vrilic stepped in for Boyer as he was first reserve.
Mike Jenkins stepped in for brian Shaw after the arnold.
Two score cards were run- one for giants and a second one for the southern hemisphere's strongest man.
the top placing southerner is now the southern hemisphere's strongest man.

don't know if he was telling the truth but i heard in an interview that he only event trains maybe once every 2 months, surely that won't help

It would keep his joints etc healthier than someone who pounds their body with yoke/farmer's etc every week. I think that once you know the event techniques, improvements on event performance can be made in the gym! He's clearly getting it right Happy

So many good Brits coming through .. I'm really looking forward to watching this BSM

Yup, no regular bars in strongman!

But as impressive as Jenkins was with that keg, that event was pretty lazy from the organisers, run back and forth with a keg?

It was kinda like a really easy poor mans husafell stone, not a great event, but as others have said that viking press looked cool as f**k.
